Paula Davis, age 76, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lora Parks; and a son, Ken Hammontree. She is survived by her husband, Robert Davis of Dalton; son, Scott Hammontree of Dalton; daughters and son in law, Selina and Chris Pendley of Ringgold, Bridgette Tinson of Chatsworth; brothers and sister in law, Fred Parks of Dalton, Bobby and Hazel Parks of Dalton; sister, Betty Jean Witt of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren,Ryan Mitchell, Brent Mitchell, Shea Pendley, Carisma Pendley, Bryce Pendley, Jennifer Adkins, Alexis Tinson, Ashton Tinson, Blake Hammontree, Tiffany Kenner; and 5 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Paula Davis will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
