Ms. Peggy "Lynn" Baity (Herrin), age 71, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away Monday, September 4th, 2023. She was born on November 14, 1951. Lynn had an abundantly beautiful life loved by her children, grandchildren, friends, and family. She had a true passion for nature and outdoor spaces and her biggest hobby was gardening where she maintained her beautiful yard. Lynn was a socialite, always up for a trip to the beach, dancing to beach music, and celebrating others. Lynn was a graduate of Ware County High School, class of 1969. Lynn was well known for her spunk and high energy. Lynn brought lots of enthusiasm and spark to her life and the lives of others. Lynn's dedication to her daughters and her willingness to do anything to help them succeed is a testament to her love and support as a mother. One of the biggest joys these last few years was Lynn's joking personality. She would pull pranks, be sarcastic, and steal your candy or coffee. She even developed a love for cats if that tells you anything. She was fun! Lynn truly left a memorable lasting impact on her family and those who knew her. Peggy Lynn Baity was preceded in death by her parents, Rosswell Walston and Rita Alice Lilly "Enders" Herrin. She is survived by her daughters, Jessica Lynn Lane and (Wesley), Margaret Ann Nakoa and (Kaleo), Nena Alice Rabenstein and (Christina); brothers Anthony Fredrick Herrin and (Debra), David Ross Herrin and (Teresa); sister, Eloise Nena Willis Herrin; grandchildren, Kana Nakoa, Addison Lane, Lexie Lane, Hayden Lane, Ava Nakoa, Kamalei Nakoa, Duke Nakoa. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ms. Peggy Lynn Baity will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, October 14, 2023 in the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home.
