Peggy Ann Peters, age 81, of Chatsworth, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. She was born July 1, 1943. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Peters; father, Homer Wilburn Wimpy; mother, Virginia Virgie 'Davis' Wimpy; daughter, Nadeen Young; brothers, Doyle Wimpy, Farris Wimpy, Harold Wimpy, Ronnie Wimpy, Donnie Wimpy; sisters, Mildrad Harris, Betty Sue Padgett, Eva Jean Herod, Charlotte Black, Doris Hullender. She is survived by her sons, Henry Thurman Lee Jr. (Michelle), Adam Adonnas (Teresa) Peters, Andrew (Donna) Peters, Eric (Janet) Peters, Aaron Thomas Peters; daughters, Amanda Annette Peters, Henrietta Lee; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ms. Peggy Ann Peters will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 26, 2024 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Pinette officiating. Interment will be at Murray Memorial Gardens The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
