Norvin "Pete" Barry, age 67, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away Monday, April 17, 2017. He was born on June 8, 1949. Pete proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Paul Barry and Edna Archer Barry; grandmother, Belle Shaw; and a brother, Edgar Barry. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Barry of Rocky Face; daughter and son in law, Suzanne and Jason Verner of Chatsworth; sister and brother in law, Bernice Ann and Hugh Hall of Dalton; grandchildren, Tyler Verner, Nathan Verner, Isaac Verner all of Chatsworth; niece, Mitzi and her husband Chuck Duram of Tunnel Hill; and several nieces and nephews. A grave side service to celebrate the life of Norvin "Pete" Barry will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at West Hill Cemetery with Pastor David Henderson officiating.
