Raymond Elliott Hughes, age 60, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday March 23, 2018. He was born on July 27, 1957. He was preceded in death by his parents, John William Hughes and Inez Willie Turner Hughes; brothers, John Hughes and Robbie Hughes; sisters, Mary Holcomb, Viola Tramble, Kathy Holmes, Joan Hughes, Betty Sue Hughes, Dorothy Hughes and Villia Waters. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Hughes of Dalton; brothers, Ronnie Hughes, Will Hughes and James Hughes; sisters, Tammy Jones, Darlene Grizzell, Nancy Brewer and Patty Ash. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Raymond Elliott Hughes will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 26, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Carl officiating. Interment will be at Skidmore Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Sunday evening.
