Rembert Wayne Stanley, age 72, of Dalton, GA passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. He was born on May 13, 1949. He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Mary "Mann" Stanley; brother, Lawrence Boyd (L.B.) Stanley; sisters, Helen Griffin, Cora lee Cornan, Lela May (Bea) Cruse, Dimple Jane Rich, Callie Ruth Stanley. He is survived by his son, Chris and Shannon Stanley of Calhoun, Bryan Stanley; daughter, Shawna Miller of Dalton; sisters, Betty and Walter Sisson, Bonnie Hastings; sister in-law, Jane Trentham; brother in-law, Larry Griffin; daughter in-law, Sandi Stanley; Grandchildren, Adam and Sheena Stanley of Tunnel Hill, Hope and Joel Statham of Calhoun, Abram and Baylee Stanley of Adairsville, Jordon and Cody Harkins of Clayton, Conner Stanley of Clayton Hank Miller of Chatsworth, Sawyer Miller Centre AL.; great grandchildren, Hynleigh Renee, Ellis Caroline, Loralei Jane, Anniston Layne, Melody Jean; Several nieces and nephews; special thanks to his friend Marvin. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Rembert Wayne Stanley will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 8, 2022 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Dwight Scott and Tracy Collum officiating.
