Rhonda Phyllis (Wyrick) Smith, age 75, of Dalton, GA went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 25, 2025. She was born on July 7, 1950, in Dalton, GA. She was the cherished daughter of the late Henry Wyrick and Louise Roberts Wyrick. She was a lifelong resident of Dalton, GA. She graduated Dalton High School in 1968. She worked many years in the carpet industry including World Carpet and Shaw Industries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Bradley (Brad) Smith; her sister, Lana Walls; brothers, James Wyrick and Alvin Wyrick. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Caroline "Carrie" Smith; two stepsons, Bradley Smith Jr. and Kevin Smith; beloved granddaughter, Olivia Smith; and two loving sisters, Carolyn Smith of Dalton, GA and Rita Wessel of Loudon, TN. and her dearest friend; Janice Hammitt. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her kindness and funny sense of humor. A gifted pianist, Rhonda's music brought joy and comfort to many throughout her life. Rhonda was a devoted Christian who loved to share her musical talent within the church in her devotion to her faith. Funeral services to honor and celebrate the life of Rhonda Smith will be conducted on Monday, September 29, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at Dalton Funeral Home with Dan Hocker officiating. Her family will receive friends at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M.
