Richard Lewis Bowers of Eton, GA, was born on January 18, 1946, in Campbell County, TN, to Alline Bowers and Ernest Bowers and passed away from this life on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the age of 79 years. Richard "R.L." grew up in the mountains of Murphy, NC and Blue Ridge, GA before residing in Eton, GA. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family and making everlasting memories with them. He loved his retirement years traveling from yard/garage sales to flea markets. Richard lived a full life and always had a story to tell. R.L. was a caretaker for his deceased family members from Murphy, NC to Cleveland, TN. Richard's companion, Sandra Davis also passed away from this life on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at the age of 73 years. Survivors include daughters, Rhonda Bowers Dillingham and partner, Eric Rider of Blue Ridge, GA and Vickie Bowers Frost and husband, Jeremy of Chatsworth, GA; and grandchildren, Haley Dillingham, Austin Rider, Noah Frost, Brayden Frost, Landon Frost, Megan Davis, and Greyson Davis. Along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alline Bowers Long and Ernest Bowers; brothers, Hubert Ashley, Billy Bowers, Charles Bowers, Tommy Bowers, Larry Bowers, and J.D.
