Richard (Richie) Mallard, age 55, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. He was born on November 2, 1968. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Eva (Brantley) Burchfield. Richie had a passion for football and was actively involved in playing for both Dalton High School and Lenoir Rhyne College. Richie loved golf, fishing and the beach. He was outgoing, friendly, and intensely loyal to family and friends. He will be missed. He is survived by his daughter, Carly Perrine; his brothers, Robert Mallard, Scott Burchfield, Craig Burchfield, and Matt Burchfield; his sisters, Dawn Shirley and Jackie Berrong.
