Mr. Ricky Lamar Owens, age 62, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on October 1, 1959. He was full of life. He enjoyed porch fellowship and gatherings with family and friends. He enjoyed his weekend motorcycle adventures. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Lamar and Peggy Owens. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Malcom Pickelsimer; nephews, Wes and Ale Pickelsimer, Tyler Pickelsimer, Andrew and Kristin Pickelsimer and their children Holt and Noah; special friends, Irene Hearn and Dennis Patterson; and his beloved fur baby, Bear. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:30 – 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 26, 2022 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro.
