Robbie Payne, age 81, of Calhoun, GA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. She was born on June 21, 1944, in Calhoun, GA, the daughter of the late Andrew Jack Johnson and Bessie Jones Johnson. Robbie was a simple lady with a heart of gold, known for her kindness, humility, and devotion to her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daryll Payne; fiancé, Bedford Woodard; and a brother, Robert Johnson, Sr. She is survived by her sister, Cynthia Johnson; a special nephew, Bobby Johnson (Minnie); numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jean Pritchett and Linda Corn who will forever cherish her memory. A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 3:00 P.M., Dalton Funeral Home with Billy Starks officiating. A private interment will be held. Visitation will be Sunday from noon until the service hour at Dalton Funeral Home.
