Mr. Robert W. Bowling, age 75, of Dalton, GA. passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023. He was born on August 6, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Katie Mae "Burrell" Bowling; and son, Michael Aaron Bowling. He is survived by his wife, Yvette Bowling; son, Robbie Bowling (Angie) of Cohutta; daughters, Lisa Bowling of Dalton and Ashley Houck (Nathan) of Dalton; sisters, Barbara Smith (Aubrey) of Gainesville and Diane Martin of Dalton; grandchildren, Shianne Smith (Nate) of Rock Springs, Stephanie Bowling of Cohutta, Victoria Christopher of Cohutta, Katie Christopher and Junior Gamez of Dalton, Drake Goff of Dalton, Dakota Bowling of Cohutta, Cameron Houck of Dalton, Dylan Gillespie of Dalton, Lexie Houck of Dalton, Baylee Gillespie of Dalton; and 5 great-granddaughters. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Robert W. Bowling will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 29, 2023, in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Dogwood Valley Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Dalton Funeral Home.
