Robert Featherstone, age 74, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014. He was born on July 14, 1939 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Robert retired from the Florida Department of Transportation. He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Eleanore Featherstone; and a brother, Michael Featherstone. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Joyce Featherstone of the residence; daughter, Vicki Lee Featherstone and her partner Charles Snead of Largo, FL; son and daughter in law, Robert Charles JR and Chrystal Featherstone of Raeford, N.C.; daughter and son in law,  Kathryn and Shannon Burke of Dalton; brother, Douglas Featherstone of N.J.; grandchildren, Jessica Mathews, Sabrina Finklea, Shaenna Featherstone, Amanda Featherstone, David Rayborn, Drake Burke, Brayden Burke; and 5 great grandchildren. A memorial service is not scheduled at this time.
