Robert Edward "Fred" Gazaway ,49 of Calhoun Georgia departed this life on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. Fred was born on June 8, 1968 in Dalton GA to the late Robert Lee and Louise Baggett Gazaway, he was also preceded in death by his sister Margaret "Punky" Gazaway and brother Alan Gazaway. Surviving are his sisters and their spouses, Mary and Amy Gazaway, Bristol, TN, Marcie and Chris Hullender, Ringgold, GA, Pam and Bruce Taylor, Calhoun, GA; brother, Sean Adcock, Calhoun, GA; sister in law, Melissa Gazaway, Robstown, TX; aunts, Melba Sloan, Margaret Roberts and Beatrice "Toolie" Padgett, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A service to celebrate the life of Fred will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with interment at Fain Cemetery, in Calhoun GA, with Rev. Casey Baxter officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Sean Adcock, Jeff Dixon, Justin Landress, Collin Landress, Austin Taylor and Nick Taylor. The family will receive friends Thursday starting at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Dalton Funeral Home. The family has entrusted the final arrangements to Dalton Funeral Home.
