Robert Dewayne Gazaway, age 58, of Chatsworth, Georgia, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016. He was born on November 8, 1957. Robert was a hard worker. The best friend anyone could have. He loved his family and he loved the Lord, his savior. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Louise Hamby; stepfather, Joe Hamby; and sister, Stacy Hamby. He is survived by his fiancé/wife of heart, Anne Marie Mulkey; daughters, Christy Boring and Elizabeth (Randy) Dunn; sons, Aaron Mulkey and Michael (Kendra) Nichols; grandchildren, Christopher (Hana) Smith, Derek (Raveyn) Smith, Rayelynn and Remington Dunn, Austin and Dalton Nichols; greatgrandchildren, Skyler and Landon Smith, Grayson and Lakelan Smith. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Robert Dewayne Gazaway will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 7, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Miller officiating. Interment will be at Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Sunday evening. Serving as pallbearers will be, Aaron Mulkey, Ed Waters, Danny Mills, Christopher Smith, Derek Smith and Lamar Brown.
