Robert L. Johnson Sr., age 75, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. He was born on April 11, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Bessie Johnson; and wife, Louise Johnson. He is survived by his sons, Robert "Bobby" (Minnie) Johnson of Rocky Face and Josh (Tiffany) Johnson of Rocky Face; sisters, Robbie Payne of Dalton and Cynthia Johnson of Hamilton County, TN; sister-in-laws, Sue Williamson of Rocky Face, Virginia Wimpy of Rocky Face, Jerrie Evans of Mableton, GA, and Paula Pangle of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Nathan Johnson, Jakoby Johnson, Amber Quinn, Tiffany Quinn, and Randall Quinn; great grandchildren, Blake Quinn, Hailey Holland, Destiny Holland, Seth Holland, Shayley Wimpy, Shelby Wimpy, and T.J. Wimpy. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Robert L. Johnson Sr. will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Bro. John Bagley, Bro. Todd Pangle, and Bro. David Pangle will be officiating. Interment will be held at Dunagan Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Dalton Funeral Home.
