Robert Merle Parham, age 65, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Friday, April 30, 2021. He was born on May 18, 1955. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burma Parham and Mavis Ownbey; brother, Owen Ownbey; niece, Christine Whitfield. He is survived by his wife, Caroline Parham; daughters, Tabitha (John) Pike of Resaca, Rebecca (Jeremy) Lott of Calhoun, Heather (Thomas) Payne of Calhoun; step-daughters, April (Clay) Pangle of Dalton, Kim (Tony) Jones of Dalton, Holly (Ricky) Wood of Dalton; brother, Horace Ownbey of Tunnel Hill; sisters, Colleen Parham of Blairsville, Alacia (Tim) Whitfield of Ranger, Vonda (Dewayne) Bledsoe of Gwinnett County; 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Robert Merle Parham will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Family and Friends officiating. A graveside service will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.
