Robert Gerald Woods, age 74 of Resaca, GA passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center. Born on April 27, 1939 in Murray County, he was the son of the late Lewis and Vera Stout Woods. Robert was married to the late Carrie Woods. He was employed by the Ford Motor Company. He is survived by his daughter, Susie Woods of Resaca; sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn  and Billy Walls; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie; a son, Ty Woods; a brother, Joe Woods and his parents. A memorial service for Robert Woods will be announced at a later date.
