Rodney East, age 46, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024. He was born on February 3, 1977. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert East; and sister, Wendy Bishop. He is survived by his mother, Alice Crider East; sons, Rodney East Jr and Robert East; daughter, Shyanne East; brothers, Terry East and Leon East; and grandchild, Aiden Lankford. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Rodney East will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1-3 PM prior to the service. Pastor Philip Burns will be officiating. Family has requested donations be made to Dalton Funeral Home to help with the cost of funeral arrangements.
