Rodney Moore, age 58, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020. He was born on April 5, 1962. He was preceded in death by his step father, Elmer Rainey; son, Gregory "Joseph" Moore; brother, JR Moore; and sister, Kathy Stanfield. He is survived by his wife, Christy Moore of Dalton; sons, Eric Shane Moore of Chatsworth, Gregory "Cole" Moore of Chatsworth; daughter, Mariah "Summer" Moore of Dalton; mother, Janie Rainey of Chatsworth; brothers and sister in law, Danny and Pat Moore of Dalton, Terry Moore of Dalton; sisters and brother in law, Debra Moore of Ringgold, Lisa Crawford of Texas, Tina and Michael Long of Chatsworth; step brothers, Tony Rainey, Marty Rainey, Michael Rainey, and Rick Rainey; grandchildren, Kyle Moore, Emily Moore, Landon Akins, Blaze Moore, and Autumn West. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Rodney Moore will be held at 3:00 Pm Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Center Hill Cemetery.
