Rodney Walden, age 49, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, August 31, 2020. He was born on June 11, 1971 in Scott County, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Walden. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Walden of Dalton, GA; mother, Geraldine Walden of Scott County, TN; daughter and son in law, April and Andy Schwartz of Sunbright, TN; brother and sister in law, Junior and Kathy Walden of Clinton, TN; grandchildren, Aedin Schwartz and Addison Scwartz; father and mother in law, Luther and Margaret Harness; sister in law, Anita Davis; brother in law, Matthew Curtis; nieces, Kayla Curtis and Alicia Walden; nephews, Trey and Josh Holsomback; aunts and uncles also survive. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Rodney Walden will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Don Hughett officiating. Interment will be at Varnell Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
