Ronald Eugene Beavers, age 89, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, June 1, 2018. He was born on October 13, 1928. He was preceded in death by his parents Jim Beavers and Addie "Hayes" Beavers and an infant daughter; Cheryl Ann Beavers; brothers, JD Bentley and William Beavers; sister, Agnes Hawkins. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Ruby Mae "Poteet" Beavers of Dalton, GA; daughter, Rhonda Beavers of Dalton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Cleta Beavers of Crandall, GA. Ronald enjoyed Ham Radio and his call sign was KF4DBZ. He loved his family and working on lawn mowers. His memory will be cherished.  A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ronald Eugene Beavers will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, June 4, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Fairy Valley Cemetery.
