Ronald T. Duke, age 40, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away after an extended illness on Sunday, November 13, 2016. He was born on August 3, 1976 in Dalton. Ron loved his son, Bryce, and spending time with him. He also was an avid motorcross fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys and GA Bulldogs. Preceded in death was his Grandfather; Dub Akins; Grandmother; Betty Duke and Step Father; Dennis Gibson. He is survived by his wife; Stephanie A. Duke of Jonesboro, son; Bryce Duke; Mother; Sandra E. Gibson of Dalton; Father, Ronnie E. Duke of Jonesboro; Step-Mother; Connie L. Duke of Jonesboro; Sisters; LeeAnn Hammontree of Dalton, Mandy Touchstone of Tunnel Hill, Tara Hullander of Ringgold and Kari Gordon of Chatsworth. Grandmother; Bessie Gentry of Ringgold and Grandfather; John Duke and Brenda Duke of Dalton several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ron Duke will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home  with Rev. Charlie Bell and Rev. Fred Cassell, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at United Memorial Gardens in Dalton.
