Ronald E. Gillean, age 75, of Lafayette, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020. He was born on March 18, 1945. He was preceded in death by his parents, LE and Ruby Gillean; and brother, Phillip Gillean. He is survived by his son, Rodney Gillean of Varnell; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry Jerome and Sandi Gillean of Calhoun; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Ronald Mauldin of Dalton, Diane Rhodes of Franklin, NC, Karen and Marshal Brown of Rocky Face, Janice and Phillip Brown of Sugar Valley; Granddaughter, Aubrey Gillean; great grandchildren, Magdelina Gillean, Beatress Owens and Max Shelton. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ronald Shelton will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Childers officiating. Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
