Ronald Lee Wilson, age 60, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, September 10, 2018. He was born on February 12, 1958. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Wilson; parents, D.F. and Irene Wilson; brothers, Troy Lee Wilson, Verlon Wilson, Henry Clay Wilson, Felton Wilson; sisters, Ivadell Wilson, Mary Lou Farmer and Ora Mae King. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Ronnie Lee and Karen Wilson of Dalton; daughter, Stephanie Diane Wilson of Chatsworth; stepson and stepdaughter in law, James and Jennifer Elrod of South Carolina; stepdaughter, Christina Elrod of Benton, TN; brothers and sisters in law, Lloyd and Janie Wilson of Dalton, Woodrow and Deborah Wilson of Dalton, Bruce and Darlene Wilson of Dalton; sisters and brother in law, Martha Gowin of Dalton, Verla Lou and Jack Grooms of Dalton; and 4 grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ronald Lee Wilson will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. D.F. Wilson and Bro. Mike Cummings officiating. Interment will be at Colonial Hills Memorial Garden. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
