Ronald "Elvis" Yerty, age 73, of Resaca, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021. He was born February 3, 1948. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Yerty; parents, Joseph Yerty and Julia Frances Teeter Yerty; son, Ron "Dinky" Yerty; brothers, Robert, Harry, Kenneth, Joseph, Archie and Daniel Yerty; sister, Kathleen Yerty. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Veronica Yerty; brothers, Rudy, Richard, Micheal, Harry and Kenneth Yerty; sisters, Shirley and Pamela Yerty; grandchildren, Starr and Noah Kimsey; Micheal Hackney; Kelly Ogles; Krystal Yerty; Justin Yerty; Taylor Marlow; Jassim Marlow; Rachel Marlow; Heather Holtzclaw TimDo; greatgrandchild, Jackson Lee Hackney; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Billy and Bonnie Keller, Robert Keller, Sherliy and Tommy Banks and Linda Blacky Brown; niece and nephews, Tony Garcia, Anglia Garcia, B.J. A service to celebrate the life of Ronald "Elvis" Yerty will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Keller and Bro. Tony Garcia officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM until the hour of service at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the Dalton Funeral Home.
