Ronnie Lee Bannister, 69, passed away at Hamilton Medical Center on Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was born on April 17, 1952 in Dalton, GA. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; Ben and Sue Wilson; and his beloved sister, Sonya Wilson. Ronnie is survived by his best close friends; Debi Jackson Durham, Michael Smith, Debbie Wilson, Steve Vance, and Jim and Judy Ledford who were all involved as caregivers; sister, Carolyn Humble; and brother, David Ferrell. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ronnie Lee Bannister will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Michael Smith delivering the eulogy. Interment will be at Sumach Church in Chatsworth. Donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital to honor Ronnie Lee Bannister. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at Dalton Funeral Home.
