Ronald "Ronnie" Erwin Cantrell, age 70, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018. He was born on March 4, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Lee Cantrell and Vera Lee Teems Cantrell; a son, Christopher Shawn Cantrell; and a brother, Lawrence Cantrell. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Janice Hensley Morgan; daughters, Linda Carter (Bryan) of Tunnel Hill, Michelle Scalf (Tim) of Dalton, Janet Helms (David Gunter) of Dalton, Melissa Johns (Lamar) of Oakdale, TN, Brenda Oliver (Doug) of Illinois; brother, Kenneth Cantrell of Chatsworth; sisters, Carolyn Kamps (Michael) of Dalton, Rosa Roberts (Paul) of Chattanooga, TN; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ronald "Ronnie" Erwin Cantrell will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Lilard Stringer officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Tuesday evening.
