Ronnie Amos Davenport, age 65, of Crandall, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015. He was born November 6, 1949. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Christopher Amos and Louise Rosene Davenport; sister, Bettie Lou Davenport; grandparents, Gordon and Inez Davenport, Rob and Ethel Brooks; and his father in law, Ronald Holbert. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Sandra Kaye Davenport of Crandall, GA; sisters and brothers in law, Shirley and David Garmany of Summerville, GA, Barbara and Ron Genslicki of Munford, TN, Rita and Rick Sims of Dalton, GA, Diane and Harold Poteet of Chatsworth, GA, and Becky and Randall Herron of Chatsworth, GA; mother in law, Gladys Holbert of Crandall, GA; aunt, Irene Morton of Texas; and also nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ronnie Amos Davenport will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Brother Harold Poteet and Pastor Carson Scarbrough officiating. Interment will be at Center Valley Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 PM till the hour of service.
