Rosine Bates, age 81, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, September 17, 2021. She was born on May 17, 1940. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Alice Bates and stepmother Mildred Bates; son, Danny Kirkland; daughter, Karen Kirkland; brothers, Arnold Bates, Raymond Bates; and sister, Bonnie Tallent. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Pamela and Michael Stanley of Dalton, Carla Ash and partner Jose of Dalton; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Rosine Bates will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 20, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Russell Snyder officiating. Interment will be at Varnell Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
