Danny Lee Morgan, born on August 10, 1960, in Lafayette, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, at Quinton Memorial Healthcare and Rehab. He was a beloved member of the family and cherished by many for his warm spirit.

Danny found joy in the company of others, especially through playing games and bingo at his assisted living residence. His love for people and his infectious enthusiasm brought light to those around him, creating moments of happiness that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

He was the son of the late Marvin and Louise Morgan and was preceded in death by his brothers, Randall, Monroe, and Ricky Morgan. Danny’s family ties were deeply important to him, and he is survived by his sister-in-law, Angie (Gary) Baxter, along with numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins who hold his memory close in their hearts.

A visitation will be held at Dalton Funeral Home, located at 620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, Georgia 30721, on May 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., followed immediately by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jamie Baker officiating and Chris Petty bringing the eulogy. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. These gatherings provide an opportunity for family and friends to honor and celebrate Danny’s life.

Though Danny has departed from this world, it is comforting to reflect that “He can now walk the street of Gold,” a sentiment that echoes the peace and reverence with which we remember him.
