Roy M. Witt, age 79, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away Friday, April 20, 2018. He was born on October 22, 1938. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Taylor Witt and Emma "Cole" Witt; brothers, John Jr., Harold, Ernest, and George Witt; sister, Mellanie Blalock, Zola Boring and Jane Keith. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ava Nell Witt, sons and daughters-in-law Roger and Karen Witt of Tunnel Hill and Timothy D. and Donna Witt of Rocky Face; sister Thelma Burton; brothers-in-law Donald Bagley and Ruben Bagley; grandchildren Victoria Witt, Andy  and  Tabitha Witt, Kyle Witt,Noah Witt, Chris Witt and special friend Jenn Fravel; great-grandchildren Jackson and Lucas Witt. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Roy M. Witt will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Sumach Cemetery in Chatsworth, GA.
