Ruby Ellen Howard, age 82, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. She was born on August 22, 1935. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Leonard Howard; a son, David Allen Howard; and her parents, B.C. and Donie Gazaway. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Dennis and Teresa Howard of Dalton; daughter, Phyllis McClure of Chatsworth; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ruby Ellen Howard will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 9, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Lester officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
