Ruby Nell Patterson, age 77, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024. She was born January 11, 1947. "Remember me with smiles and laughter, because that's how I'll remember you all". "If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all". She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Patterson; father, Auther Montgomery Smith; mother, Early Estell 'Cook' Smith; brother, Shuford Smith and wife Mary Ann Smith; sisters, Mae (Bill) Gentry, Birdie (Tommy) Holsomback, Carla Smith and Bobby Boyd; brother-in-law, Billy Guess. She is survived by her daughter, Angie (Ron) Nottingham; sister, Christine Guess; grandchildren, Haley Nottingham, Zoe Nottingham, Zackerie (Katie) Nottingham; great grandchild, Charlotte Nottingham.
