Russell Pritchett, age 77, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020. He was born on November 26, 1942. Russell was a loving grandfather, mentor and friend. He enjoyed hunting, camping and his constant companions Odie, Yoda and Marty. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Veneta Pritchett. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Sandy and Michelle Pritchett of Chatsworth; daughter and son in law, Gayle and Brady Girard of Calhoun; grandchildren, Cory Pritchett (Alyssa), Hayden Pritchett, Joshua Lawrence (Susan), Arielle Brown (Cody), Mariah Grogan (Dakota); great grandchildren, Austin Pritchett, Noah Grogan, Nora Jo Grogan, Henry Brown; and a very special friend, Joanne Wright. To celebrate the life of Russell Pritchett a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Edwin Puckett officiating. Interment will be at Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
