Mr. Russell Lee Townsend, age 23, of Chatsworth, Georgia went home to be with the Lord. He was born on September 10, 1998 in Dalton, Georgia. He is survived by his father, Trammel Calway Townsend of Chatsworth; mother, Cathie "Rice" Townsend, and her fiancé, Billy P. Taylor of Chatsworth; brothers, Jonathon (Lakayla Barnes) Townsend of Chatsworth, and Eric Townsend of Plainsville, Georgia; and several aunts and uncles. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Russell Townsend will be held at 4:00 Monday July 25, 2022 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Edwin Puckett officiating. Interment will be at Eton Cemetery in Eton, Georgia. The family will begin receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
