Mrs. Ruth Ann Padgett, of Dalton, GA passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023. She is preceded in death by her mother and step father, Ruby and James Parker; daughter, Debbie Kendrick; and brother, Kenneth Langley. She is survived by her husband, Jeff Padgett; children and spouses, Charlotte and John Walker, Zachary Padgett, Kathy Sampson, Pam Gibson, and Sherrie Rhodes; grandchildren and spouses, Crystal and Scott Brown, Tiffany and Jeff Jaynes, Brea and Joey Hodge, Jaci Painter, Jessica and Brady Walters, Jonathan Walker, Dakota Gibson, Nick Rhodes, and Braydon Rhodes; great grandchildren, Toby Brown, Taylor Brown, Tabby Brown, Tessa Brown, Corey Hodge, Riley Hodge, Gavin Hodge, Jessie Jaynes, Jackson Jaynes, Jeffery Jaynes, Alysa Jaynes, and Ella Walters; numerous nieces and nephews; siblings, Barbara and Gary Fuller, Troy and Donna Parker, Coy and Deanna Parker. The family will like to give a special thanks to the staff at Pruitt Health in Fort Oglethorpe. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association and/or Rosswoods Adult Day Center. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ruth Ann Padgett will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Neil Hasty officiating. Interment will be held at New Hope Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home.
