Sally Odell Ball Welch Ralston, age 97, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021. She was born February 4, 1924. She was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children Gene Welch and her husband Charley Ralston; children, Ed and Danny Ball, Allen, Ronnie and Ricky Welch; daughter, Linda Pierce; parents, Perry and Mary Ball. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Trammell Caldwell of Dalton, Ga; Mary and Joe Lawless of Dalton, Ga; daughter, Charlotte Scott of Dalton, Ga; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Cynthia Welch of Chatsworth, Ga; daughter-in-law, Regina Welch of Dalton, Ga; sister Katherine Guinn of Dalton, Ga; She is also survived by a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Sally will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will be at United Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
