Samantha Rose Fross, 13, from Americus, GA passed away November 22, 2016, in Gainesville, FL. She was loved by many and loved everyone that she met. She was preceded in death by two very loving grandmothers Darlene Fross and Thelma Raper. She survived by both sets of parents Kathie and Billy Land and Kristopher and Pattie Fross; her siblings Nicholas Fross, Nicole Kirk, Jeremy Kirk, Courtney Land, Bethany Land, Aaron Land, and Tabitha Land. She is also survived by loving grandparents Craig & Laurie Raper, Cindy & Scott Byers, Ron Fross, Patsy Bowen, Laurin Cavender and Terri Chambers, and James & Mary Land. She also has a very loving aunts and uncles, Darrell Land, Beth Cavender and David Cavender. She has a nephew, Kacen, whom she adored. She also has great-grand parents William J. (Bill) and Eugenia Cavender, Jewell Teasley, Ruth Davis; and many family, friends, and medical staff that loved her dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation www.cff.org or Give Kids the World www.gktw.org, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation raises money for research for a cure and Give Kids the World sends terminally ill children to Disney for a week. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Samantha Rose Fross will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Gathering will be from 6-7:00 PM.
