Sammy Hatfield, age 70, of Ft. Payne, Alabama passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018. He was born February 6, 1948. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dill and Susan Hatfield. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Hatfield of Ft. Payne, AL; sons and daughter in law, Jerry and Jennifer Hatfield of Ft. Payne, AL, Sammy Hatfield of Kentucky; daughters and sons in law, Sandra and Terry Nicholson of Dalton, GA, Brittany and Jeremiah Hicks of Tennessee; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Sammy Hatfield will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Sugar Valley Cemetery.
