Sammy Larry Priest, age 78, of Chatsworth, GA. passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024. He was born February 18, 1945. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Stevenson; brother, Eddie Davis; sister, Joy Stevenson. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Annie R. Priest of Chatsworth; mother, Ermie Davis of Dalton; sons, Robbie (Anita) Priest of Ringgold, Steven (Joyce) Priest of Chatsworth; daughter, Lora (Troy) Duncan of Crandall; brother Carl (Mytrice) Priest of Dalton; sisters, Jeanette King of Calhoun, Pat Mathis of Chatsworth, Sue (Mike) Davis of Dalton; grandchildren, Madison (Collin) Ray of Piney Flats, TN.; Molly (Chris) Marshall of Dalton, Dalton Dwayne Priest of Chatsworth, Megan (Joseph) Rios of Atlanta; great grandson, Micah Marshall of Dalton; sister in-law, Ina Williams, Lisa Davis; brother in-law, Ralph (Gracie) Gilbert; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Sammy Larry Priest will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Darey Kittle officiating. Interment will be West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
