Sandra Lucille Gazaway, age 69, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020. She was born on August 3, 1951. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Lucille Gazaway; mother, Lucille Gilliam Stone; father, Leslie Stone; stepmother, Ann Stone; brother, Leland Stone; sister, Teresa Carter Webber; and brother in law, James Yauger. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Larry Gazaway of Dalton; sons, Bruce Gazaway of Dalton, Jeramie Gazaway of Dalton; sister, Patricia Yauger of Dayton, OH; stepsister, Sherry Carter Palmer of Dalton; stepsister and brother in law, Diana and Bobby Lewis of Dalton; stepbrothers, Greg Reese of Chatsworth, Terry Reese; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; multiple brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Sandra Lucille Gazaway will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor David James officiating. Interment will be at United memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Thursday evening. Scott Elrod, Chris Lofty, Justin Clark, Brandon Gazaway, Gerald Gazaway and Robert Yauger will be serving as pallbearers.
