Dearest friends and family, It is with profound sadness that I share the news of Sandy Wisner's passing. Sandy, known affectionately as "Little Sandy," left this world on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the young age of 37. Her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Sandy's life, though tragically cut short, was filled with love, laughter, and a generosity that touched countless hearts. She was a devoted mother to Skylar and Peyton, a loving partner to Billy, and a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and unwavering support that will continue to inspire us all. Those who were fortunate enough to know Sandy will remember her as a woman of remarkable warmth and strength. Her quick wit and playful humor could brighten even the darkest day, while her compassion and empathy extended to everyone she encountered. She possessed a rare ability to make everyone feel seen and loved, and her selflessness was truly inspiring. While she might not have been in constant contact with everyone, her genuine affection was always present, ready to resume wherever it left off. The bond she shared with her family and friends was something truly special. Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Donnie Edwards ("Fuzzy"), and her grandparents, Irene and Jimmy Kelley, and Dorothy and Bill Wisner. She is survived by her sons, Skylar Payton and Peyton Riley Wisner; her mother, Deborah Wisner; her life partner, Billy Payton; her sisters, Tracy Rogers and Katina Turman; her brothers, Donnie Wisner, Bobby Wisner, and Scott Edwards; and her nieces and nephews, Britney Dykes, Kimberly Dykes, Destiny Shipman, Hali Wisner, Rose Baker, Colby Wisner, Jessie Wisner, Hayden Wisner, Jayce Wisner, Brantley Wisner, Bentley Wisner and Caleb Prine. A celebration of Sandy's life will be held from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 30, 2025 with a service at 7:00 pm at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. This will be an opportunity to come together, share our memories, and honor the beautiful life of a truly remarkable woman.
