Scotty F. Jones, age 46, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015. He was born on February 9, 1968 in Cleveland, TN. He is preceded in death by his father, Edgar Frankie Jones; stepdad, Edd Kirby; grandparents, James and Audie Jones, and Reggie and Dora Mantooth. He is survived by his daughters, Amber Davis of Dalton, April Jones and her boyfriend Ray Thompson; ex-wife and caregiver, Karen Jones of Dalton; mother, Mildred Kirby of Benton, TN; sisters, Karen and Gene Burns of Benton, TN, Vicky and Delane Brock of Chatsworth, Tammy and James Brown of Benton, TN, Margaret Jones and her boyfriend Ronnie Este of Athens, TN, Sonya and Jerry Branam of Benton, TN; grandchildren, Skyler, Lola and Landon; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Scotty F. Jones will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bother Carl Haulk and Chaplain Craig Mills officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 till 9:00 PM on Wednesday evening. Interment will follow at Boanerges Cemetery.
