Mr. Sean Patrick McGloin, age 23, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022. He was born on December 16, 1998. He was preceded in death by great grandparents and a great-aunt. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Melody McGloin; sisters, Brenna and Genevieve McGloin of Johns Creek, GA and Allie Fredericks of ME; grandparents, Richard and Faith McGloin of Ocala, FL, Susan Rock and Charlie Burnham of Freeport; plus, several other beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In his youth, he enjoyed spending time in the Masonic organization Demolay. He held various local and state offices there and served as volunteer within this group until he graduated high school in Windham, Maine and enlisted to the US Army. He served as a communication tech (25U) in Korea and at Fort Riley, Manhattan Kansas. He was honorably discharged in 2020. Sean very much enjoyed rooting for his favorite sport teams Kansas City Chiefs, had season tickets to the Atlanta Falcons, and enjoyed hockey and baseball. He was an avid gamer and was most recently employed at a social media company helping people connect to rehab facilities. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Sean Patrick McGloin will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
