Gregory "Shane" Stern, age 47, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Thursday, September, 5, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Hedy Stern. He is survived by his fiancé, Karen Underwood of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters in law, Brian and Rita Stern of Chatsworth, Anthony and April Littleton of Chatsworth; sister, Angela Stern of Cohutta; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Gregory "Shane" Stern will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, September 6, 2019 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Ferrell Rogers officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
