Shirl Plank, age 83, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019. She was born on April 13, 1936. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Plank; son, Christopher Clemmons; brothers, William Buddy Crisp, Bucky Crisp, Carl Crisp; sister, Patricia Russell; granddaughter, Tiffany Smith; and her parents. She is survived by her children, Donna Fletcher of Chatsworth, Jeffrey and his wife Leissa Clemmons of Pembroke, GA, Lori and her husband Randy Stark of Chatsworth; sister and brother in law, Rena and Kelly White of Inglewood, TN; brother in law, Everett Russell of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Candace Miller, Jessie Ann Hitt, Jeffrey Clemmons, Keefer Clemmons, Kerstin Clemmons, Destinee Castillo, Seth Castillo, Blaine Stark; and several great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Shirl Plank will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Center Valley Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers and plants the family has requested donations be made to American Cancer Society.
