Shirley Ann Goodson, age 80, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020. She was born on September 27, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wayne Goodson; son, William Freddie Kittles; 2 infant children; parents, Fred and Dovie Carroll; brothers, Leon Carroll, Charles Carroll, Marvin Carroll, Edward Carroll, Jack Carroll; sisters, Alice McCauley, and Louise Mullins. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Lamar and Candy Kittles of Chatsworth; daughter and son in law, Deborah and Bobby Gravley of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Mitchell Gravley, Samantha Gravley; great granddaughter, Aria Gravley; and special nephew, David Carroll. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Shirley Ann Goodson will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, July 10, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Ross Holland officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
