Shirley Diane Wood Rutledge, of Dalton, GA passed away October 27, 2024. She was born November 24, 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Wood and Sarah Smith Wood; two infant sons. She is survived by daughters, Shelby Rutledge, Christy (David) McDaniel, Jennifer Rutledge; brothers, Larry Rutledge, Ronald Rutledge, Jeff Rutledge, Danny Rutledge, Jerry Rutledge, Roy Rutledge, Jackie Rutledge, Donald Rutledge; sisters, Brenda Chassnut, Judy McGhee; grandchildren, John and Keri, Brandon, Travis, Brandy, Sarah, Cassey, Tiffany, Ashley, Emily, Haley (Max) Martin; great grandchildren, Ryann, Jayson, Timmy, Jaxson, Noah, C.J., Alexis, Jax, Bryce. A service will be held 1:00 P.M on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Florencio Torres officiating. Interment will be at Spring Place Memorial Gardens.
