Shonna Carter, age 30, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She was born on March 13, 1991. She is survived by her father, Phillip Burns of Breman, GA; mother, Debbie Swim of Dalton; husband, Danny Carter of Rocky Face; sons, Jase Carter of Rocky Face, Jynson Carter of Rocky Face, and Gavin Carter of Tunnel Hill; daughters, Abby Randolph of Rocky Face, Allie Carter of Tunnel Hill, and Makayla Carter of Tunnel Hill; brothers, Phillip Burns Jr. of Rome, Caleb Burns of Rome, and Austin Cordell of Rocky Face; sister, Melanie Smith of Dalton; mother in law, Judy Carter; father in law, Bobby Carter; and grandchildren, Mavrick and Paxton. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Shonna Carter will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Dunagan Cemetery.
